Futures Fins

Futures was founded in 1996 by the Longo brothers, who brought an aerospace and engineering background into a California garage. It is still based and producing in Huntington Beach.

It developed the first fin box set into the board before glassing, so the box gets its strength from the fibreglass. Futures' fin templates and constructions — from flexible fibreglass to stiff carbon and honeycomb — are designed to fine-tune how a board drives, pivots and holds.
