Firewire is the surfboard brand that went all-in on alternative constructions. Its roots go back to Australian shaper Nev Hyman, and it was the first global brand to build its whole range in EPS and epoxy instead of traditional PU.
With Kelly Slater as a major owner, Firewire works with shapers like Dan Mann, Rob Machado and Slater Designs, and keeps pushing lighter, longer-lasting boards with a smaller footprint.
