Rip Curl was founded in 1969 in Torquay, Australia, by Doug "Claw" Warbrick and Brian "Sing Ding" Singer, a short drive from Bells Beach. It started with surfboards and soon became one of the world's leading wetsuit makers.
Its wetsuit ranges, like the Flashbomb, are worn by surfers everywhere, and the brand's long-running Bells Beach contest is a fixture of pro surfing.
